A short film from Hunting Kind- Labour’s Loves Lost

Hunting Kind, led by Ed Swales who you will see in the film, has launched a short (38 minute) film which we would urge you to watch. Entitled ‘Labour’s Loves Lost’ it looks into the long tradition of hunting with lurchers in the North East, focusing on the mining community of Ashington, where hunting for the pot was relied on to feed families during the Miners’ Strike of 1984/85
