The Festival of Hounds is not just a historic celebration of hunting, it is also a wonderful and sociable day. Where visitors catch up with friends and acquaintances from up and down the country and it is the perfect chance to take in some quality shopping!
The variety of stands always provides the visitor with that must-have purchase. Whether this is a pair of new riding boots, replacing last season’s breeches, treating the labrador to a new leather collar, being super organised and buying next year’s Christmas cards, finding the most delicious bottle of Rhubarb Gin, silver trinkets to delight someone dear or buying a fine piece of artwork you have a wall crying out for at home to fill.
Many of our exhibitors return year after year, some are small rural enterprises with great entrepreneurial flair and they rely on the support from show visitors buying from them. Others are recognisable long-established brands in the hunting and country pursuit marketplace making the blend of shopping available at the event a retail cornucopia of goods.
